Open letter regarding AI-Filtering vs AI-Banning

Don’t let AI image generation destroy this community! Let’s fight for Artstation, not abandon it! Abandoning Artstation does not really solve any of the underlying problems. These problems don’t go away by leaving.

EXTRA NOTE: Some ask why music AI has not been as successful as image-generative AI. Well, it's at least in part because music can't be downloaded for free like images. In that regard Art and Images are the most exposed of all the fields that can be disrupted by generative AI. This leads me to believe that the unintended consequence of AI could be the slow demise of the free internet as we know it. It is possible that everything that people value will be put behind paywalls to protect it from generative AI. Whether that is text, code, music, or images.
